We got a chance visiting Cliffs of Moher last Sunday. The maximum height is said to be 214 m at the highest point and cliffs run for approximately 8 kilometres. We never thought they were so mesmerising until we started walking on the track on top of them. They present an exciting view of Atlantic Ocean and you come across with wonderful birds as you walk further.
It was a little windy but nevertheless quite pleasant. And by Irish standards, it is good if it is not raining.
We walked all the way through, taking pictures in the middle and viewing the cliffs from different angles and it took us around 3 hours to reach the final point. On our way back we just rushed as we were starving and all our food was in our car. We never anticipated it would take 3 hours one side. It is a good idea to carry a couple of good fruits such as bananas or either chocolates to refuel your energy.
